As Phase has been developing our mental wellbeing support for young people, we have been looking at various apps and programmes that young people can engage with in their own time to help promote wellbeing and mindfulness. One of these apps is Headspace, an app that the whole team have found to be very useful.

Here is how Headspace describe it:
*Headspace - is meditation made simple. We'll help you train your mind for improved focus, better sleep and less stress. Learn online or through our mobile app when you want, wherever you are, in just 10 minutes a day.

We are pleased to say that Headspace think that we are doing a great job, so have given Phase a whole bunch of subscriptions for free to give to young people to aid their wellbeing growth, this has all been made possible by their Get some / Give Some programme.

This is a very exciting step for Phase for many reasons, firstly it encourages us that what we are doing is making a huge difference, secondly it enables Phase to give young people more tools to support themselves as well as the programmes we run for them.
