We recently held the third of our relaunched One Day Holiday Clubs called Time Trek.  Time Trek is designed to bridge the gap between the brilliant summer holiday clubs that happen across the town and give families another opportunity to connect.  Time Trek happens every Tuesday of half term and travels around to different churches.

This half term we were hosted by the lovely people at Tilehouse Street Baptist Church for an afternoon of thinking about Zacchaeus (found in Luke 19) and how his life was transformed when he met Jesus!

40 children joined us for a fun afternoon of games, drama, bible story, craft, challenges and reflection. A great time was had by all with many people commenting on the fun time that was had with a really positive atmosphere. A personal highlight was chatting with a girl towards the end as she was explaining all the illness in her family and how bad it is at the moment. We were leading into an activity where we were all writing down things we wanted praying for and she said ‘I now don’t need to worry about any of this because God will sort it out’. This is just one of many examples about how we are so fortunate to be a part of the journey of these young lives.

Next term Time Trek will be on Tuesday 18th February. Please do get in touch if you have children aged between Reception and year 6 that would like to attend or if you are interested in volunteering. You can sign up to our mailing list to ensure you get all the latest information here.
