Time trek
Every Tuesday of half term, the Forum (the youth and children’s teams from across the churches) put on a one day holiday club called time trek that tours round the different churches in the town. This half term we were at Christchurch and had nearly 40 children come along to have huge amounts of fun and to learn more about our great God! We looked at the story of Moses’ and hwo God is with us through everything.
Time Trek is helping to connect families and children to church, it is the bridge between the summer holiday clubs and it also enables churches to run a one day holiday club in their community. Speaking to one parent they said ‘my son absolutely loves coming to Time Trek, he always comes home sharing all about what he has done and learnt, thank you to all the churches!’
Time Trek is another great example of the work The Church is doing in our town and as PHASE we are seeing many of these children in our primary school projects as well as having many of the children now attending things we are doing in the secondary schools!
