RESOURCE ROUND-UP: January 2026
Welcome to the January Phase Resource Round-Up. This is our hub for sharing useful blogs, podcasts and tools.
Our first blog of 2026 was all about setting goals (as you might expect). In it, I encouraged a blend or grace and dreaming big for anyone setting New Year’s resolutions. Here’s a quick snippet:
There’s a famous quote from James Clear of Atomic Habits fame, “You don’t rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.”
I agree with this to the extent that systems, or habits, are important. However, in my experience, often our systems rise to the level of our goals.
The biggest blessings in my life have started out with huge leaps of faith.

Kieran wrote a piece all about leadership which I absolutely loved reading. I’ll just share a quick excerpt:
You might not think of yourself as a leader. But someone else probably already sees you that way.
So keep showing up.
Keep being kind.
Keep choosing to care.
That is what leadership looks like.
And we need more of it.

Molly shared an insightful read about 5 ways you can support our work at Phase: Share, Volunteer, Donate or Fundraise, Talk, and Pray. If you’re interested in helping out, go check it out.

Our most recent podcast episode is a short listen packed with thoughts on setting big goals. You can find it on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and SoundCloud.
Last January’s episode “New Year; New Us?” is still a relevant conversation around new year goal-setting as well if you want to scroll through the back catalogue and give it a listen.
Don't forget to follow and rate the show!
Molly has created a new resource called ‘My Panic Plan’. This is a simple tool to help you develop a personalised plan for dealing with extreme anxiety.

Since we've mentioned goals a few times in this round-up, I figured it would be a good opportunity to re-share our Goal Pyramid resource. It's a clear visual way to reflect on how your daily habits will build towards bigger milestones.

Thanks for reading! I hope you find these resources useful.
