Making a difference through mentoring

Recently during a mentoring session in school, the pupil and I reflected back on the changes they have made during the last 6 months of us meeting together.

It was so encouraging to hear and see what he felt about the improvements made. As we wrote down past behaviours and new behaviours, he was so encouraged by what he had achieved and how we had helped him.

It was a humbling reminder that giving people time and a listening ear can make the world of difference especially in a world where time is a rare commodity.
