Fundraising success!
Over the past few months, lots of people have been fund raising for the work of PHASE.
In June a team of seven including Kieran, tackled the Three Peaks Challenge; climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon. It was all achieved in 23 hours and 7 minutes and raised a total of £2600.
In September, our friend Molly, a young person who attends Hitchin Girls’ School and Christchurch, then put on a whole family fun day on Saturday 21st September organising a huge range of different activities from face painting to a Scalextric grand prix. Molly arranged volunteers, contacted different companies and asked for people to donate desserts to make this a fantastic day. We asked Molly what had prompted her to do all of this? She said ‘PHASE has helped me in so many ways, so I just wanted to give back’. Molly raised a huge total of £500!!
Finally, we were one of the three charities chosen by Waitrose to be part of the Community Matters green coin campaign. Thank you to everyone who put their coin into our box; this raised £301 to support our work.
