As part of our expanding work, we have begun to deliver self-harm support groups, where we take students through a 6-week course.  During this time we look at the reasons why we self-harm, the triggers, gathering a toolbox to help us through and then moving on to what the future holds.

As we finished with our first group we asked the students how the group had helped and this is what they said:

‘I’ve learnt how to gain more control’, 'I know who I want to be now’, 'It was good being able to talk about anything during the group’.

It has been hugely encouraging hearing their thoughts and comments about what has been good and how it has helped.
